Year 6 Enjoy an Unforgettable Adventure at PGL Liddington

Our Year 6 pupils recently returned from an incredible week at PGL Liddington, where they enjoyed a wide range of exciting activities, developed new skills and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Throughout the trip, the children demonstrated outstanding teamwork, resilience and determination as they challenged themselves in a variety of outdoor activities. One of the highlights was the Giant Swing, where pupils showed great courage as they soared high into the air, cheered on by their friends. The Raft Building activity encouraged teamwork, communication and problem-solving as groups worked together to design and construct rafts before testing them on the water.

Another favourite activity was Jacob's Ladder, which required trust, cooperation and perseverance as pupils worked together to climb increasingly difficult levels. It was wonderful to see children encouraging one another and celebrating each other's achievements throughout the week.

The fun didn't stop when the activities ended. One evening, the children enjoyed a fantastic Silent Disco, where they danced, sang and laughed together, creating some of the most memorable moments of the trip. Mr Roper was not a fan of all the Taylor Swift songs...

The week provided countless opportunities for pupils to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence and strengthen friendships. Staff were incredibly proud of the way the children represented Madginford Primary School, showing excellent behaviour, kindness and respect throughout the visit.

PGL Liddington was a truly unforgettable experience, filled with adventure, laughter and personal achievement. We are sure the memories made during this special trip will stay with our Year 6 pupils for many years to come.
